
General rental conditions
Article 1 - Contract
This seasonal rental agreement is reserved for the exclusive use of rental and accommodation with Polynesian Lodge Experience.
Compliance with the rules of this rental is mandatory. Failure to comply with these rules may result in penalties, such as deductions from the security deposit.
All Guests (and all Visitors) must comply with the House Rules and any other instructions provided by Polynesian Lodge Experience (P.L.E) during their stay. Hosts must inform the Manager of P.L.E. of any incident or any complaint from the neighborhood as soon as possible.
In no case the responsibility of P.L.E. will be liable in the event of use of its contracts by third parties or for purposes other than tourism.
In accordance with the regulations in force, these General Conditions are systematically communicated to any Customer who requests them, to enable him to place an order with P.L.E. Likewise, the company reserves the right to derogate from certain clauses of these general conditions, depending on the negotiations carried out with the customer, by establishing special conditions or an agreement.
Article 2 - duration of stay
The tenant signatory to the rental contract, concluded for a fixed period, may not under any circumstances claim any right to remain in the premises at the end of the stay.
Article 3 - conclusion of the contract
The reservation becomes effective once the tenant has accepted the general conditions and made the payment online. A contract will be sent to him with the description of the accommodation and the corresponding costs.
The rental concluded between the parties to this deed cannot in any case benefit even partially to third parties, natural or legal persons, except with the written agreement of P.L.E.
Any violation of this last paragraph would be likely to result in the immediate termination of the rental at the fault of the tenant, the product of the rental remaining definitively acquired by P.L.E.
Article 4- Withdrawal periods
For reservations made by email, telephone or internet, the tenant has the option of withdrawing if the cancellation date is earlier than seven days preceding the effective rental date. After this time, penalties may be applied.
Article 5 - Capacity
The number of people indicated per accommodation in our prices and brochures corresponds to the maximum authorized occupancy taking into account the equipment available.
It cannot be exceeded for safety and insurance reasons.
P.L.E. reserves the right to refuse you access to the accommodation if the number of people exceeds the maximum authorized occupancy.
Article 6 - Rates
The rates appearing on our website are inclusive of all taxes, tourist taxes included (except cleaning fee and excessive electricity consumption).

Article 8 - Cancellation by the tenant
Full refund for cancellations made up to 30 days prior to arrival. If the reservation was made less than 30 days prior to arrival, full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of the reservation and at least 14 days prior to the arrival date. Beyond that, a 50% refund will be given up to 7 days before arrival. No refunds will be made after this period.
For any interruption or non-consumption of the stay on the day of the rental, the sums incurred remain due except in exceptional cases (death, serious illness).
Article 9 -Cancellation by P.L.E.
P.L.E. pays the tenant all the sums paid, as well as an indemnity at least equal to that which the tenant would have borne if the cancellation had occurred by him on this date.
Article 10 - Declaration of any event (anniversary or other private events)
The tenant must ensure the peaceful character of the rental and make use of it in accordance with the destination of the premises.
It is imperative to declare to us any event (birthdays or other) before your arrival by indicating the number of people present and to respect the safety and tranquility instructions of the place (reduction of the sound volume of the music from 10 p.m.) and to declare this event to your own insurance imperatively. The hosts and their possible visitors must not adopt any antisocial behavior. They are asked to minimize their immediate impact on the neighborhood and residents of the neighborhood.
Article 11 - Arrival
The tenant must present himself on the specified day and time mentioned on the rental contract.
The desired arrival time is fixed from 2 p.m. If you cannot respect this time slot, it is essential to notify the concierge as soon as possible by telephone or by email at
conciergerie@polynesian-lodge-experience.com. For arrivals by evening flight, the connection between Tahiti and Moorea is not possible. It will be necessary to provide temporary accommodation on Tahiti.
Article 12 - Modification of stay
Any modification of the stay requested in terms of dates, place, duration, number of people or family composition must be validated by our services. It may, if necessary, be subject to additional invoicing.
Article 13 - Inventory
An inventory is drawn up jointly and signed by the tenant and the concierge upon arrival and departure from the accommodation. If the property has a system for handing over the keys by box, then the tenant must fill in the inventory of fixtures present in the accommodation. This inventory is the only reference in the event of a dispute concerning the condition of the accommodation.
The state of cleanliness of the property on the tenant's arrival must be noted in the inventory.
Article 14 - Security deposit
When booking or when the tenant arrives, a security deposit is required through the Swikly application, the amount of which is indicated on your contract, is requested by P.L.E. After the contradictory establishment of the exit inventory, this deposit is returned, after deduction of the cost of restoring the premises if damage or missing effects are noted.
In the event of early departure (prior to the time mentioned on this contract) preventing the establishment of the inventory on the day of the tenant's departure, the security deposit is returned by P.L.E. within a period not exceeding two weeks.
Article 15 - Insurance
The tenant is responsible for all damages caused by him.
If He is insured by an insurance contract such as civil liability or travel insurance to cover these various risks, He may provide a certificate of insurance when booking. The tenant can take out optional multi-risk insurance offered by Polynesian Lodge Experience.
Article 16 - Payment of charges
Housing rental costs include water and electricity charges, insofar as no abuse of consumption is observed.
Article 17 - Valuable
It is recommended not to leave valuables in the accommodations. The responsibility of P.L.E. cannot be held liable in the event of theft, loss or damage caused to the personal belongings of the guests.
The accommodations are secured by a door and window closing system.
Article 18 - “Rental” cleaning
The cleaning of your accommodation during your stay is your responsibility. Cleaning equipment is provided for this purpose. The accommodations are fully cleaned and disinfected after each departure. Optional cleaning may be requested.
Article 19 - WIFI and Internet
You have unlimited internet connection during your stay.
Article 20 - Swimming pool
For safety reasons, the use of glasses is prohibited in or around the swimming pool.
Children must be accompanied and supervised at all times by their parents. Pool safety equipment will be specified on each rental agreement.
Article 21- Balconies and terraces
Hosts must supervise infants and children at all times when using balconies or terraces.
Article 22 - Tobacco
Guests are permitted to smoke outside the accommodations.
Article 23 - Pets
Pets are allowed in some accommodations.
Article 24 - Complaints and disputes
Any complaint relating to the inventory of fixtures and the state of the description, must be submitted to the concierge service within 24 hours.

Article 25 - Customer acceptance
These General Conditions are expressly approved and accepted by the Customer, who declares and acknowledges having perfect knowledge of them, and therefore waives the right to rely on any contradictory document.
